The Hound of the Baskervilles by Conan Doyle (1976)

The most interesting book that I read this semester is " The Hound of the Baskervilles " writtern by Conan Doyle. This book said that the most famous Sherlock Holmes story of all. I think you know about him because he is very popular author. I tried to read his book in Japanese before, but it was very difficult to understand and I gave up so I tried to read his another book again. As I thought, it was hard to read for me but also it was very good. First of all I will talk about author of the book.      Conan Doyle is most famous as the inventor of Sherlock Holmes, but he had varied career as a writer,  journalist and public figure. Arthur Conan Doyle was born on 22 May 1859 in Scotland. He trained as a doctor when he was a child and worked as a surgeon on a whaling boat and also as a medical officer. In the middle of 1880s, he married and began studying psychic phenomenon and started spending more time writing. Sherlock Holmes debuted in 1887 in “A study in Scarlet.”
