   I read "Far from the Madding Crowd" this week. This is kind of a love story but not simple love story. It's mixed few people's feeling and things never work out as they expect.    Bathsheba Everdence is a beautiful young woman. Three men say they love her but she marries the wrong one. He is a handsome man and very kind to her at first, but after few years passed, he became cold to her and often go to drink. Actually he has a another wife in another village and the another wife was a Bathsheba's servant.    Farmer Oak is a strong and well-built man. He loves Bathsheba for a long time and helped her many times. But she doesn't look him like that. He is also a honest man so he don't stop loving her. One day, Bathsheba's husband had gone somewhere and everyone had thought he was dead. The Great Discovery by Mandy Loader

     This week, I read "The Gret Discovery." I choose this book just looking the design of the front cover. However, this story is about treasure from the lost tomb of Queen Cleopatra and I am very interested in history of Egypt. Also, I went to Kumamoto-jo hall to see an exhibition for mummies around the world few days ago, so I am glad to read this book.      I will talk about the content. Archeologist Tim Saunders sit opposite a mysterious girl on a train in Egypt. He noticed the bracelet she's wearing. He thought it may be a treasure from the lost tomb of Queen Cleopatra and asked her about it. After that, she took him to her house. Her father showed many Cleopatra's treasures to him.  That was great discovery. He wanted to take pictures but refused, so he drew pictures. He presented about the great discovery of the treasures because he wanted to be a famous. After the presentation, he arrested by Egyptian police because police thought he had got the treasure. T

The Body by Stephen King

   I read "The Body" Do you know the movie called "スタンド・バイ・ミー" in Japan. This book is the original of the movie. The name is translated so I didn't notice this before I finished reading.    The story is that Gordie and his three friends go to the forest to find a body which literary dead man. They have a tree house in a big tree which hang over some empty ground.  They often get together there and play cards for money and smoke cigarettes.    One day, one of the group members said to them "You guys want to go and see a dead body?"    They had a old radio and they remembered a news that a boy named Ray Brower is missing for three days and police are searching him.
